US trucking and freight / Managed BPO
Trucking back-office outsourcing for US carriers, brokers and 3PLs
Actigy BPO provides remote back-office support to US freight teams. A carrier can hand over dispatch follow-up, a broker can hand over carrier packets or delivery paperwork, and a shipper can hand over loading updates. Choose one shift and tell us which decisions stay with your dispatcher, broker or dock supervisor.
Agree the scope, access and reviewer before a paid pilot.

Which trucking desk should you outsource?
Start with the handoff that most often misses a customer cutoff. A broker with unbilled delivered loads needs document collection. A carrier losing dispatch time to appointment callbacks needs facility coordination. A shipper with drivers waiting for freight needs loading-readiness updates.
- Carrier desk: support load planning for an identified motor carrier and record its acceptance decisions.
- Broker desk: assemble carrier onboarding files, collect PODs and flag missing references for the broker.
- Shipper desk: confirm facility appointments and loading readiness, then send the named owner a time-stamped exception.

What should the morning dispatcher find in the TMS?
For each open load, record the last verified event, the carrier’s estimated time of arrival (ETA), the facility’s confirmed appointment and its local time zone. Give the next shift the contact, next update time and action still due. If a carrier estimates an 08:30 arrival for a 07:00 appointment, the record shows both times until the facility confirms a new slot.

Which decisions stay with our team?
Your carrier accepts loads and assigns drivers. Your brokerage approves carriers and commercial commitments. Your warehouse directs physical loading. Before start, give the remote team a contact and fallback for each decision, plus permission to record the outcome in your transportation management system (TMS).

What should we price and measure?
Specify the shift and time zone, normal and peak load counts, calls or portal touches per load, escalation rate and the team that covers absences. Measure complete handoffs, open exceptions at shift end, missed updates and documentation readiness. Separate labor hours from elapsed facility waiting time.
Before the first live queue
Bring the inputs that shape your scope
The proposal should identify what can be assigned, who can decide, and how you will accept the work. Start with one representative queue; agree any expansion after reviewing the pilot.
Define the workload
Carrier, broker or shipper role and the exact desk functions needed.
Agree the controls
TMS permissions, local time zones and authority for communications.
Review the right measures
Record completeness, open-action age and handover corrections.
Before you decide
Buyer questions
Clarify the work, access and approval boundaries before assigning a team.
Can we start with one shift rather than outsourcing all dispatch?
Yes. Define one recurring queue or coverage gap, agree the owner and test a representative shift before adding more work.
Does the desk involve physical loading or accepting freight for transportation?
No. This is remote office support. Physical work, carrier selection, transportation commitments and final commercial decisions stay with authorized operators.
Will you work in our TMS?
Identify the TMS, portals, access rules and required update fields during scoping. The proposed pilot uses the systems the client approves.
